Self-taught oil painting from life. I was 23 years old and passionate about this technique. I painted these barns with tiled roofs with these blue mountains in the background. Les Paroirs is the original hamlet of my ancestors, 2 km from the town of Veynes in the Hautes-Alpes. This is where I came to spend my summer vacation every year.
