Voyage dans les Bouches-du-Rhône
En 1994, voyage de quelques jours en Camargue, à Martigues, Arles, Aigues-Mortes et dans l’arrière-pays. C’était l’été et les paysages étaient magnifiques. Cette région m’a beaucoup inspirée.
Aigues-Mortes, the ramparts (1999)

What a pleasure to stroll on the ramparts which surround the city. We have a superb view of the surrounding landscapes and the roofs of the city. At the time of the Crusades Aigues-Mortes was on the edge of the sea. Since then the sea has retreated and here is the town several kilometers from it surrounded by sand and salt marshes. This in no way detracts from its charm as a medieval city.
